Bio
I am a registered social worker with over 20 years' experience. The bulk of my career has been in disability services, working in NGO's and ACC. More recently, I worked in transitional housing, followed by mental and behavioural health, along with commencing private practice. I have held various roles, including social worker, team leader, health improvement practitioner, service coordinator, behaviour specialist, advocate, and support worker. My work has covered Otago, Southland, South Canterbury and the West Coast. I have supported people from urban and rural areas, various ethnicities and socioeconomic strata.
I live in Ōtepoti Dunedin, where I was born and raised (apart from short forays to Invercargill and Wainuiomata). I have lived in Ōtepoti Dunedin for my adult life, apart from a year in Greymouth.
